Terms of use
Terms of use
By downloading, accessing, or using ReadyPath (the iOS app) or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or site.
1. Who we are
ReadyPath is published for UK App Store distribution by the App Store Connect publisher reachable at info@kakitsu.com (“we”, “us”, “publisher”). ReadyPath is not an NHS body, not commissioned by the NHS, and not endorsed by NHS England, NICE, MHRA, or any GP practice or clinic.
2. What ReadyPath is (intended purpose)
ReadyPath is consumer software that helps adults organise administrative tasks related to adult ADHD assessment referral preparation on an iPhone (for example notes, photos of letters/forms you choose to store, wait-survival receipts, and export of a pack you assemble). Full product boundaries are in Scope and Medical device stance.
ReadyPath is not: a medical device for diagnosis or treatment; clinical advice; therapy; triage; emergency care; a clinic booking or ranking service; an NHS patient record; a messaging channel to the NHS; or a guarantee of referral acceptance, waiting times, or clinical outcomes.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to enter a binding contract under applicable UK law. The pathway is aimed at adults managing their own referral administration. If you help someone else, you confirm you have their lawful permission to handle their information on this device, and that you alone are responsible for that handling.
4. Your responsibilities (critical)
You remain solely responsible for:
- Accuracy — everything you type, scan, import, confirm after OCR, score, or tick in ReadyPath
- Device security — your passcode, Face ID, backups, who can unlock the phone, and loss or theft of the device
- Sharing and export — who receives PDFs, photos, or notes you share via Apple’s share sheet, Mail, Messages, Files, AirDrop, printing, or any other channel
- Third-party data — informant contacts and any third-party personal data you store; you must have a lawful basis to process it
- Clinical decisions — checking important decisions with a GP or appropriate clinician; never treating screening scores, readiness %, gaps, or pathway tips as a diagnosis or care plan
- Clinic channels — submitting packs only through channels your practice or clinic accepts; ReadyPath does not submit to the NHS for you
- Official sources — verifying any NHS.uk, NICE, ODS, or other linked information against the live official source before relying on it
You acknowledge that ReadyPath does not control Apple system services, NHS directories, postcodes.io, Safari destinations, or recipients you choose when exporting.
5. No medical advice · emergencies
Content in the app and on this site is administrative and informational only. It does not create a clinician–patient relationship and must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, triage, or crisis care.
Emergency: call 999. Urgent mental health: NHS 111 or local crisis services. ReadyPath is not monitored for distress signals.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features (if offered) are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase / subscriptions. Billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellation are governed by Apple’s terms and your Apple ID settings. We do not process your App Store payment card details.
7. Official data and third parties
Links and lookups involving NHS.uk, NICE, NHS England, Organisation Data Service (ODS), postcodes.io, Apple Health, Reminders, Calendar, Maps, and similar services are provided for convenience. Those parties have their own terms and privacy notices. ReadyPath does not warrant their availability, completeness, or accuracy, and does not rank clinics by clinical quality, waiting time, or outcome.
8. Intellectual property and branding
ReadyPath branding, UI, and original copy are owned by the publisher. NHS, NICE, and other official names and marks remain with their owners. You must not present ReadyPath as an NHS product, scrape or republish the site as a clinical or medical product, or remove admin-only / not-diagnosis notices when sharing screenshots or exports.
9. Acceptable use
You must not: misuse the app to harass others; store others’ data without permission; attempt to reverse-engineer for harm; use ReadyPath to claim a diagnosis or clinic endorsement; or attempt to interfere with hosting or security of this site.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the app and site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, App Store availability in every territory, or that ODS / postcodes.io lookups will always succeed.
11. Liability (UK consumers)
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for digital content that is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for a particular purpose made known to us, or not as described — always interpreted in light of ReadyPath’s admin-only intended purpose in section 2.
Subject to that non-excludable liability, and to the fullest extent permitted by UK law:
- the app and site are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis;
- we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of chance, missed appointments, referral delays or refusals, employment or Access to Work outcomes, clinical outcomes, or decisions you or a clinician make;
- we exclude liability for loss or disclosure of data arising from your device insecurity, backups, exports, share-sheet destinations, or email you send us;
- our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with ReadyPath in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us via Apple for ReadyPath in that period, and (b) £50.
You agree that these limitations are reasonable given that ReadyPath is an inexpensive (or free-tier) admin organisation tool, does not provide clinical care, and leaves diagnosis and pathway decisions to clinicians and NHS processes outside our control.
12. Privacy
How information is handled is described in the Privacy notice. You remain responsible for data you add and share, as set out there and in section 4.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page (and, where appropriate, in-app). Continued use after a posted change constitutes acceptance for subsequent use. Material changes to paid terms may also be governed by Apple’s subscription rules.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, mandatory local consumer protections still apply.
